The Customer Perception is Always the Reality
Most customers shop with their feet.
What this means is that most customers will not take the time to register a complaint. They will instead, spend their money elsewhere.
I am surprised at the number of both Online, and Offline businesses who are not aware of the following business principle:
Customers Are Really Everything (C.A.R.E)
If a customer thinks your service sucks, then it does.
If a customer thinks that your delivery took too long, then it did.
If a customer thinks that your staff was rude, then they were.
If a customer thinks that the checkout lines in your supermarket are too long, then they are.
If a customer thinks that your business takes too long to answer the phone, then it does.
If a customer thinks that your food is not fresh, then it isn't.
If a customer thinks that your drinks are not cold enough, then they aren't.
If a customer thinks "who the hell do you think you are asking me to enter my name and email address just to browse your Online store", then really, who the hell do you think you are?
The customer perception, is always the reality.
Making Money Giving Away Free Software
I registered a domain name on the 17th January 2008 in order to frame an affiliate URL. I put a link on an existing web site of mine and sat back.
After 145 unique visits through the link, there is 7 free sign ups and one Upgrade to Gold Member for a total profit of $44.36. Not bad after only a few days with absolutely no serious promotion.
I know it's too early to count, but at 10 bucks a day, that would be an extra $300.00 per month to the bottom line just for adding a link.
As long as the link keeps converting, there is no reason not to add the link to other places like: - Article Web Sites
